We have had a very busy first term in Sixth class, with a variety of activities, ranging from sports to art. We had a good start in September and got straight down to work! The children were lucky to participate in a Rugby Blitz in Monivea, which was very enjoyable, but tiring. Everyone played brilliantly - well done!
We also got to try hockey, which some children really enjoyed. We have been learning about Space and our Solar System in Science and also did an investigation into light and how it travels. The children have been working hard in Irish, English and Maths learning new concepts, vocabulary, and writing techniques. We have also started to try out some debates and got the Sixth Class Hoodies. We worked with clay to create Halloween candle holders and had a fun dress-up day, with some games for our Halloween party!
